About Clyde Craft
Tommy Flynn has been involved in boatbuilding since 1960 having served a traditional boat building apprenticeship. We also worked on the
first
glass-fibre yacht built in Scotland and has been involved in every
stage of glass-fibre boat construction ranging from building new boats
using naval architects drawings, constructing moulds, fabricating
hulls and superstructures to repairing damaged boats.
We have a vast depth of experience in repairs ranging from small
gel-coat scratches to major structural defects, all carried out in a
modern temperature controlled workshop, a must for any structural
glass-fibre repairs. The number of boats we have repaired over our many
years in the industry number well over 1,000.
